Who is responsible

The data controller for the LoveChapter service is the operator of lovechapter.rs. For privacy questions, contact us at contact@lovechapter.rs.

Information we collect

Account (couple portal): When you register with email and password, we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. We do not store your plain-text password.

Google sign-in: If you choose “Continue with Google”, WorkOS and Google authenticate you. We receive and store your email address, display name, and WorkOS user identifier linked to your portal account. We may receive a profile picture URL if Google provides it.

Guest gallery and invitations: Guests may upload photos or submit RSVP data as described on those pages; couple accounts see wedding and invitation data linked by our team.

Website contact form: Name, email, optional wedding date, and message when you contact us from the marketing site.

Technical data: Our API and hosting providers process IP addresses, browser type, and request logs for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.

How we use information

We use portal account data to authenticate you, operate your dashboard (galleries, invitations, photo-printing orders), and communicate about the service.

We use Google sign-in data only to create and maintain your couple account and session; we do not sell personal data.

Contact form submissions are used to respond to inquiries and improve our service.

Cookies and sessions

The couple portal uses HttpOnly cookies on our API domain (for example lc_portal_session) to keep you signed in. If you sign in with Google, an additional cookie may store a WorkOS session identifier so we can sign you out of Google when you log out.

The marketing site may use Cloudflare Turnstile when configured, to reduce spam on forms.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare (hosting, storage, database, email sending) to run the product.

We use WorkOS for user management and Google OAuth; Google processes your sign-in according to Google’s Privacy Policy.

These providers process data on our instructions and under appropriate agreements.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your portal account exists. If your WorkOS user is deleted, we remove the linked portal account and associated photo-making uploads as part of that process.

You may request account deletion or correction by emailing contact@lovechapter.rs.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent where applicable. Contact us at contact@lovechapter.rs and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
